The Decoder Ring

Although most of their work is typically American in style, you'll find some good work by The Decoder Ring, like this logo for the 'Written Word Workshop'.

Designer DJs

Mr Adrian Shaugnessy interviews a few pioneering designers and convinces them to play the music that inspires and influences their work. Sounds like it's been recorded in the 70's, all the same, quite interesting.
Tune into Graphic Design on the Radio

(Not sure, but possibley available for weddings, parties, barmitzvahs...)

NickAD

I saw this link on The Serif and had to post it, not so much for the work, although credit to Nick, there is some really good stuff in there, but more for the interface.
Let's be clear, I am not a fan of the use of over the top flash for stuff like navigation especially on portfolio sites (where the work should be speaking) however, I like the way the screen totally changes and the menu brought completely to the fore in one click.
Maybe more appropriate for a promotional site of some sort, but it is novel and worth a look.
Some will really like the navigation, some will find the navigation annoying or slow (albiet on a mac), but make your own mind up and check out NickAD
