Farrow Design

Mark Farrow, founder of Farrow Design, is most noted for his work in sleeve design. Apart from the Pet Shop Boys, one of his longest and most successful music relationships is with Jason Pierce's Spiritualized, who apparently sacrificed several minutes off his album 'Ladies and gentlemen' just so that the running time looked better typographically on the packaging! You can read more on that over at Creative Review Blog

Pecha-Kucha

Very much enjoyed Digital Pecha Kucha last night, as part of the D&AD President's Lectures 2008. Some very brave people from various digital agencies stepped up and entertained us with a completely random selection of topics, personal loves and interests, so well done to all those who participated. Also top marks to Simon Waterfall, not only for presenting the lectures, but more so for wearing the black suit with white tie and white shoe combo. ;-)

If you want to know what Pecha-Kucha is, you can find out here
