David Löhr’s TITAN

Titan is the complimentary work of David Löhr's (a.k.a.Science Under Fire) diploma degree in visual communication at the University of Arts, Berlin. It was conceived and created from January 2008 to July 2008. Titan in its completeness is an author’s work.
From the very first conceptual step to the finished result of a five minutes long presentational movie, this visual tale was designed, realised, directed and produced by David solely

Helen Turner from Draught Associates has let us know that they are currently working on a new identity for The Poetry Society to coincide with it's centenary celebrations in 2009.
Preserve

Still on the southern side of the hemisphere, an interesting project that Mark Spurgeon wants to let us know about, called Preserve. Mark has, over the past few years, has made a visual record of old hand painted building signage, over time these old hand crafted signs are being replaced with computer cut logos, worn away by the weather, demolished and soon, he says, will be all but a distant memory.

A Broken Consort

Incidentally, aside from all the emails, I also received a nice surprise in the form of some lovely music in the post. To be more precise, Richard Skelton's new album, Box Of Birch; multi-layered instrumental music which is as beautiful as it is haunting. Worth some ear time for sure!
Many thanks to Tim Williams

Back online -Just!

Well, I've had a crazy couple of weeks recently, full of highs and lows, but now I am busy trying to get back to some kind of normality, it seems like an impossible task at the moment, but I am getting there! Anyway I came back to my desk, with what seems like a billion emails to go through and will be sorting through those asap, as well as sourcing some good linkage!

The Easter Bunny Arrives!

Hello everyone! Well, if you have been wondering why it's been so quiet around here for the last week or so, then I can tell you that it's because my wife and I have been extremely busy designing our most ambitious creative endeavour ever...
the birth of our baby daughter!!!
All I can say for now is that I am absolutely thrilled, and even though I am beyond tired, it has been the most amazing thing I have ever experienced.
So apologies to all those who have emailed in, I will be back on track as soon as I can, but for now I will be busy losing more sleep, changing mucky nappies and dishing out lots of TLC.
All the best and happy Easter!

Where We Do What We Do

Quite a voyeuristic and interesting project, and as they say, not the most original idea, however, always interesting to see creatives and their working environments. Peek into Where We Do What We Do
