Manchester based design studio, Music, which is featured on the cover of this month's Creative Review, was founded by Dave Simpson, formerly of Love Creative. As you would expect, some very nice work to be seen.

Illustrative is a leading international forum for contemporary illustration and graphic arts. Every year at two different creative cities around the world, the exhibition displays an inspiring collection of current illustrative und graphical art with over 600 works from more than 60 artists. So if you happen to be in Berlin in October then you will be interested in this years Illustrative Art Festival. The festival starts on the 15th and runs for 17 days. James Hurst from Cure Studio wants to let us know about The Big Antidote. One illustrator draws a section of a story, then the baton is passed to someone else to continue the story.Once 10 stories have been completed they will be screenprinted and an exhibition will be held. Find out more here.
An interesting design project by Cardon Webb where by he takes people's personal street ads and redesigns them. I like this because it re-enforces the notion that something does not have to be original, it just has to be well executed in order for it to be a success, take something and make it better.

Everyone loves a bit of glamour, beauty and indeed erotica every now and then, and Shutterlounge, a new photo gallery concept, attempts to fill that need by represents working contemporary photographers featured in magazines like VOGUE, ELLE, Marie Claire etc, capturing the current zeitgeist, and amazing and striking imagery.
Art director Nadja Lossgott of TBWA/Hunt/Lascaris: Johannesburg, emailed us about their recent poster campaign for Adidas. They were created for the recent Confederations Cup. Everything was handcrafted and painted on wood found off the streets of Africa.
