Last week we featured London design group
Creative Resource, and their Project for Oxfam, today we are featuring fashion illustrator
David Downton, who, as it happens, also worked on the same project, illustrating for their book jacket, swing ticket and in-store signage.
David's latest project was for British Vogue where he and seven other contributors (including Michael Roberts, Celia Birtwell and Christopher Kane) were asked to "design, decorate or adorn" a paper fan. The results, according to the magazine, are the ultimate arm candy!
I love Downton's work – his work for Marks and Spencer has resulted in some of the best-looking canvas bags on the high street (and there are a LOT of those now!).
